Tickets/Reservations

Many events require us to either strongly recommend or require reservations. Please purchase tickets ahead of time to guarantee seating. Walk-ups are welcome for events not sold out, but we do not guaranteed availability. Prices subject to change.

Advance online tickets can generally be purchased up to one-hour before an event.  For online ticket purchases, your confirmation e-mail is your receipt. ***Be sure to also check your junk/spam folders for your confirmation email.***  When you arrive at the railroad, simply check in at the ticket office, and your tickets will be waiting for you under your name.

If you have reservations for one of our mystery trains, simply check in with our hostess inside the station.  Seating begins 15 minutes prior to departure.

We currently accept VISA, MasterCard and Discover [American Express accepted on-site only].

   

 

Refund Policy

No Refunds: When booking tickets, you will be asked to agree to our 'No Refunds' policy. If you choose to cancel your Coach or Parlor Car ticket reservation with at least 24 hours' notice prior to the scheduled departure, you are eligible to receive a credit* for the full purchase price, excluding the handling fee. For Mystery Train, Caboose, and Lounge Car reservations, cancellations must be made one week (seven days) prior to the scheduled event to be eligible for a credit* equal to the full purchase price, minus the handling fee. Cab Rides and Hand on the Throttle experiences are ineligible for credits. 

 

Please be aware that no refunds or credits will be issued for cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled departure for Coach and Parlor Car tickets, or within one week of the scheduled Mystery Train, Caboose, or Lounge Car reservation. Walkersville Southern Railroad appreciates your understanding and cooperation regarding our refund policy.

*Credits can be applied toward any future event at the railroad. Credits expire one year from the issue date.
