Locomotives:
1943 GE 45-Tonner

Built in 1943, the GE was shipped to a USAF base in Orlando, FL, as USAF 7469. In 1998, the South Branch Valley RR bought the locomotive as government surplus from the Point Pleasant (near York, WV) storage base.

A private purchaser a few years ago moved the GE to the Durbin and Greenbriar tourist operation in West Virginia, and it was moved again to WS in late 2009. It is still privately owned.  (John Meise photos)
